What makes Sculptra® Aesthetic so unique?

Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Sculptra® Aesthetic is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA)- based treatment. PLLA consists of lactic acid molecules stuck together in strings (a polymer) that is made in a laboratory and contains no animal products and no human DNA. Over time, it very gradually disappears by the action of your own cell enzymes.
